Andrew has always had a desire to teach and develop people to become better. In 2001, Andrew became a loan officer with a large mortgage bank and in eleven months was promoted to Regional Manager. While with Iowa Funding, Andrew kept grounded while opening five offices for the company in three different states. He continued to lead by example and was a top 10 originator annually. During this time, Andrew began the lead in to the credit repair industry. In 2005 Andrew and his entrepreneur spirit left Iowa Funding and launched ABC Mortgage, Inc., a licensed mortgage banker in Iowa. This was an exciting time as his passion to teach and develop individuals lead towards really helping people financially, developing budgets, teaching the dynamics of credit and financial literacy. ABC Mortgage, Inc. quickly developed the reputation of honesty and making things simple for the consumer. These attributes ultimately ended with our firm being purchased by one of the largest privately owned banks in eastern Iowa.
In 2007, Andrew made his most exciting move as he felt that the best forum to teach financial literacy, credit scoring and true financial life skills, was to become a Bonded and Licensed CSO. In December of 2008, Andrew purchased American Credit Repair, owned by Sam Parker a founding board member of NACSO. This synergy of dynamic leadership with a documented leader in the industry set a new standard of ethics and customer service. This also really helped Andrew see how important NACSO was and is, in protecting the industry and setting the gold bar of quality. Andrew has taught credit scoring classes for the IMA, and countless state and real estate organizations. In August of 2011, the group renamed and re-launched as Heartland Credit Restoration, Inc. becoming a national brand.
