Jill Monnahan Named 2026 Iowa REALTOR® of the Year

Jill Monnahan has been named the 2026 Iowa REALTOR® of the Year, recognizing her nearly three decades of service to her clients, fellow REALTORS® and the real estate profession.

The award honors a REALTOR® who demonstrates exceptional dedication to the industry, professional excellence and a commitment to making a difference in the communities and profession they serve.

Throughout her career, Monnahan has built a reputation for exceptional service, thoughtful leadership and a willingness to share her knowledge with others. Her approach to real estate is grounded in the principles she was raised with: motivation, dedication and a commitment to doing things well.

“Jill has a way of making the people around her better,” said Gavin Blair, Iowa REALTORS®. “She makes people feel supported, heard and more confident. Whether she is working with a client, mentoring another REALTOR® or helping shape the future of our profession, she brings the same level of care and attention to everything she does.”

Monnahan has been an active leader at the local and state levels, serving as president of the Cedar Rapids Area Association of REALTORS in 2021. She has volunteered to serve on committees, participated in planning groups, contributed to Presidential Advisory Groups and stepped forward to lead her association when needed. She has consistently sought opportunities to strengthen the profession while encouraging others to become more involved.

Her leadership is driven not simply by a desire to move the industry forward, but by a commitment to continually improve herself and those around her.

After nearly 30 years in real estate, Monnahan's impact can be seen in the professionals she has mentored, the initiatives she has helped advance and the countless colleagues and clients who have benefited from her knowledge, perspective and willingness to help.

Monnahan was presented with the 2026 Iowa REALTOR® of the Year award during the Iowa REALTORS® Convention in Des Moines.
