Kristin Polley Named REALTOR® of the Year

Kristin Polley, Broker of the CENTURY 21 Signature Real Estate Marshalltown office, as well as, Polley Real Estate Team, has been named as REALTOR® of the Year by Iowa REALTORS®, the state Association of real estate professionals.

The honor recognizes Polley’s commitment to the real estate industry, her exceptional contributions to the community, and her leadership in her profession.

It is bestowed annually on one Iowa REALTOR® who has contributed significantly to the advancement of the REALTOR® profession and their community-at-large during the last year.

Polley, who was also recently installed as the second vice president for the Iowa REALTORS®, leads the team at Polley Real Estate Team in downtown Marshalltown, where she also owns/operates the Outlet coworking space with her husband, Kurt.

Polley was instrumental in helping to revitalize downtown Marshalltown after tornadoes devastated the area in 2018. The Polley’s were driven to be part of the rebuilding, and began to research how to do so.

In the end, the family decided to move to the downtown area, taking residence in a top floor of a building they owned and turned the downstairs into The Outlet Co-Work & Space to meet the growing demand for flexible and collaborative workspaces in Marshalltown. While the Polley's real estate firm is housed in several of the building's offices, the majority of the space is available for rent by individuals and businesses.

More recently, the Polley Real Estate Team joined the Century 21 Signature Real Estate family, where Kristin is now the broker of the Marshalltown office, as well as, Polley Real Estate Team, Team Lead.

Polley currently serves on the Chamber of Commerce Board, Assistance League of Marshalltown, Ruckus in the Roundhouse, President of the Mid Iowa Regional Board of Realtors, Assistant chair of Legislative committee for the Iowa Association of Realtors, member of the Risk Management committee for the National Association of Realtors, and as an active member of Journey Church.
