Welcome Alex Wishard, Iowa REALTORS® Marketing Project Coordinator

Iowa REALTORS® is excited to welcome Alex Wishard as our new Marketing Project Coordinator!

Born and raised on the border of Minnesota and Wisconsin, Alex split his formative years between the two states before earning a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from The Art Institutes International Minnesota in 2009. He and his wife moved to Iowa in 2021.

Alex developed a strong interest in marketing early on in his career, and honed his skills while creating videos and social media content. Most recently, they worked as a Process and Project Coordinator for a pet product company before transitioning into freelance marketing, helping clients develop content and supporting copy for products, case studies, websites, and more.

Alex is eager to bring his expertise to Iowa REALTORS®. He's ready to dive into the ins-and-outs of an association, specifically focusing on education, development, and supporting an entire industry. He's most looking forward to learning from the team and making a positive impact for Iowa’s REALTORS®.

When not in the office, you might find Alex piloting 100-ton BattleMechs in MechWarrior Online, flying virtual aircraft in Microsoft Flight Simulator, enjoying themed movie weekends, or cheering on Motocross and F1 races. A lifelong learner, he also has a passion for language studies — diving into learning Mandarin - and even picked up throat singing along the way!
