The IAR Broker Legal Hotline is a resource for IAR Brokers and strives to provide a source of legal information that is educational in nature and covers broad issues affecting the profession. Only IAR Brokers will be allowed to ask questions on the legal hotline. If you are not a Broker, IAR recommends that you reach out to your Broker for assistance. If your Broker is not able to answer the question, then the Broker can call or email the IAR Broker Legal Hotline on your behalf. 

Iowa REALTORS® offers statewide housing stats every month. 

The Iowa REALTORS® seeks to provide an equitable and fair housing market in Iowa. With an increasingly diverse population, REALTORS® may need to seek the help of outside service providers to ensure they meet their fiduciary duties to work in the best interest of their clients. 

IAR now provides interpretation services as a member benefit. IAR believes that language should not be a barrier to homeownership. We are optimistic that offering this service will assist in our mission to close the homeownership gap and ensure the dream of homeownership is available for all.

IAR has partnered with iTEK Interpreting Solutions, a Quad Cities based company with over 25 years of experience, to provide this member benefit.

The IAR School of Real Estate is a service of the Iowa REALTORS® that provides pre-license and continuing education programs for both REALTORS® and non-REALTOR® licensees. The IAR School of Real Estate is one of the largest real-estate specific schools in the country, and offers hundreds of classes per year at various locations across Iowa and online.

There are many laws affecting REALTORS® and the real estate industry. IAR provides a free broker  hotline. The IAR broker Hotline is a resource for only IAR members and strives to provide a source of legal information that is educational in nature and covers broad issues affecting our industry. This hotline averages more than 1,500 calls per year.  You may ask a question to the IAR Broker Legal Hotline by calling 515-309-9358 or by emailinglegalhotline@iowarealtors.com during the scheduled hotline hours. 

As the largest real estate trade organization in the state, the IAR can provide its members with the resources to effectively work to enhance and protect the real estate industry.

The Iowa REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) accepts campaign donations from Iowa REALTORS® and disburses the contributions to political candidates that align with the IAR. Every year, RPAC donates ten of thousands of dollars to protect the REALTOR® and consumer interest.

NoCoast MLS is a new venture by Iowa REALTORS®.

For the past several years, IAR has managed the MLS for six boards around the state. Over the last few years there has been talk of creating a regional MLS so that members would have access to the entire state's property listing data including residential, multi-family, commercial and land.

NoCoast MLS simply wants to bring MLS data to all 8,200+ REALTOR® members across the state so that our REALTORS® can continue to do what they do best, sell and list property while allowing us to provide them with the best MLS tools available and with the most accurate data available.
