Local Board MLSs

 

A Multiple Listing Service (MLS) is a private database where real estate brokers share information about properties for sale, allowing them to cooperate and find buyers for each other's listings.

Access to an MLS is typically limited to licensed real estate agents who pay a membership fee to use it.

In Iowa, many MLSs are operated by local boards or a regional MLS, NoCoast MLS. 

On the map to the right you'll see each local board in Iowa, and those areas that are designated as serviced by the NoCoast MLS. 

 

NoCoast MLS aims to simplify and enhance the real estate industry for its members. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive single MLS system that gives REALTORS® access to residential, multi-family, commercial and land property listings with a single MLS subscription fee.

The system will be governed with transparency and made up of representatives from each participating board. The NoCoast MLS will benefit buyers and sellers by providing accurate data, up-to-date property information, and a variety of technology tools and services.

Local boards and associations will not lose their identity, but will gain additional listing data and experience the benefits of NoCoast MLS.

NoCoast MLS provides a comprehensive and transparent MLS system for REALTOR® members to simplify the real estate industry and benefit both home sellers and homebuyers with access to residential, multi-family, commercial and land listings.

MLS's managed by NoCoast MLS currently use Paragon's MLS platform. Contact the local board to find out the MLS platform of any MLS not managed by NoCoast MLS. 

Heart of Iowa merged with Central Iowa Board of REALTORS in 2023. However the portion of the new board that was previously served by the NoCoast MLS remains available on NoCoast MLS.
